After the ballet recital, we went to our city's big yearly summer shin dig: a carnival, outdoor concert, and fireworks show. Fireworks! This is when it finally hit me that summer really is in full swing. I already missed the city summertime parade. Not one more thing! I've got to catch up.

But I'm soooo happy and can't wait for the fireworks!

It was the perfect, most beautiful and fun night. And sooooo special to have our parents here to share it with us.

We are having our city carnival this weekend. I think we will be going tonight. It sounds pretty similar with carnival rides, a concert in the park and fireworks! I loved the picture of Dad and the boys! Too cute!
