Pig Chases, Hay Slides, &Train Rides

HEE HAW FARMS! We LOVE it!
I'm still sad that we missed our other favorite, Barnyard Boo, but this was such a fun night! It's getting harder to keep up with all of the things I want to do each fall. The list keeps growing. There are just so many fun places to hit this time of year!

First, the trick-or-treat hay ride!

We're so excited!!!

Giddy with promises of candy!

Mommy, I see Shrek and Pooh!
Dressed-up teens waited unenthusiastically in the corn field to throw candy to screaming little children. It was really funny. They didn't even pretend to be enjoying this.

CANDY!!!

Stuffing the pockets.

Chew, chew, chew!

Jack said he doesn't like Smarties, and continued to look out for better things.

Allie with pockets stuffed, and more!

Next, the animal train!
Allie's nervous face.

Off they go! Wooohooo!

Through the corn.
Soooooo CUTE!

And back again.

Next up, the hay slide!

Ready...set...

Goooooo! Frightened faces!

Happier faces the second time around.

Then we got really brave. Sydee decided to go all alone!

And it's a rough landing! I wouldn't even do it.

Jack then had to conquer it alone too.
Waiting at the top...

Steady!

We did the corn maze...

Bunnyville, of course...

and who could forget Leroy! We were so excited to see him again.
But thanks to this BIG BOY, Jack is now kosher. Yep, he
absolutely refuses to eat pig, because "it's dirty". So now we have
two vegetarians, and one kosher. I thought he'd forget until yesterday
Chad cooked some bacon and asked Jack if he wanted any, which he
usually loved before Leroy. He asked if it was pig, we said yes it was,
and he said, "well I don't eat pigs because they are disgusting, they
roll in mud".

On to the PIG RACES! This was hysterical. Watching herds of children running circles around squealing piglets.

There goes Jack for one!

I couldn't believe he did it! He caught one!!!

Next Sydee had her big chance!

And she totally did it! Who knew I had some future rodeo stars?! I knew I had some cowgirl in my blood, and now I see I've passed it on!

And last, the hay jumping.

YEEEEHAW, this was FUN!

oh my gosh! Those are the funniest pictures ever! I laughed so hard! I can't believe how great the action ones came out! I love the pic of Allie so scared looking for you from the train...so funny! I love the one with Chad and all 3 of the kids going down the slide. The funniest one of all is Jack at the top of the slide mountain hugging that sheet so close thinking to himself, "what did I get myself into"? lol You have the best places up in Utah! We might have to move there!

That was so fun to see the kids enjoying themselves. You got some great action shots coming down the slide. I'll have to send Jack a whole box of Smarties! LOL! Sydee has really been taking some great pics. Deann, you are still such a chicken! That train ride was just like the one in Jackie's neighborhood on Halloween night! Those are so fun! Maybe next time you come down we can go to a Rodeo in Norco! Yee haw!

I looooove this place!! (haven't been, but want to go:) We had a pumpkin patch in Omaha that we would go to that was kind of like this-- makes me miss all those fun times. The slide pictures are great-- you captured some great faces! Hope you're doing good.
