the graduates

Sydney graduated from preschool and is off to Kindergarten in the fall. Chad surprised her with a pearl necklace that I know she will treasure forever. She didn't let go of them all day. When he explained where pearls come from and she was fascinated!

Jack graduated from his first year of preschool and can't believe he gets to go to "Sydee's preschool" next year.

Sydney's ceremony.

Each kid had a solo singing part and read a story. It's surprising how comfortable she is on a stage, yet so shy in class and other social situations. She did a great job!

Her very kind and patient teacher, Mrs. Harris.

The expression on Jack's face when he saw the room full of parents staring back at him was one I'd never seen on his face. It cracked me up! I'm SO happy I caught a picture of it.

He took the Pledge of Allegiance and singing SO seriously.

I've never seen him so still in my life.

Here he is singing his heart out for us.
When he first saw me in the audience with my camera, he gave me this look I will remember forever. This expression I'd never seen before either. His face said, "I'm the most loved boy in the whole world"! I think he realized at that moment how much he is loved and how proud we are of him. He had seen us adore Sydney during ballet shows many times, and at her graduation that morning. He's always been so proud of her. But now it was his time to shine, and he sure did!

His wonderful, amazing, creative, best teachers in the preschool world made these sweet scrapbooks for each kid! I couldn't believe the time and effort made. It's full of pictures, crafts, and sayings from each kid! So much passion and dedication. I LOVE this preschool!
They did the most adorable crafts and had a cute field trip each month: Hee Haw Farms, Kohler's Grocery Store, Cabella's, Fire Department, the Dentist Office, and the Post Office. At the end of the year they had a teddy bear picnic. A couple funny things Jack said that they documented in the scrapbook are: My favorite food is... "broccoli and tofu".
For work my mom..."colors with me" and my dad..."works in basements".
For fun my family... "goes to Gardner Village".
My family is..."happy".

That picture with Sydney and her pearls is so cute! You can tell how much she loves them.
And you might have me sold on Jack's preschool. I'll need to get the information from you.
