Here are my new baby Aspen trees, I so enjoyed

while laying my big pregnant belly on this blanket and reading my new favorite cookbook

while Jack watered his tree, Apa...

Sydney gave a poetry read-aloud, the kids had puppet shows,

and made collages,

After Chad was done mowing the lawn and assembling the new storage shed, we planted more veggies in the garden...

and picked our very first harvest of the season: arugula & parsley!
It was a very good day. :)

What a beautiful yard and gorgeous view deann! Sounds like the perfect family Sunday.
Your view is amazing!!! Is that a lake below those snow capped mountains?? Stunning! And your yard looks so lovely to hang out in. You kids are so creative!
oh, thanks you guys! Megan, yes it IS a lake! I love it. It's so close we can walk to it! Until we get a ski boat I'd love to get even a little canoe to take the kids out in. Would be so fun to go for a little boat ride in the evenings after dinner! It's a pretty big lake, but currently not utilized much. The city wants to put money into it to attract more people. I'm not sure I want to attract people :)
Deann the fence looks awesome! I love the kids nature collages. I showed Laney and I We are going to do that today. Thanks for the idea =) I'm glad you finally had a pretty sunny day!
